Karma | New Orleans Party Band

. I had known about Karma for years from seeing them perform at different events, and I always knew they were a band we would consider when the right occasion came along. One of the singers, Jordan, also cuts my hair and I have been knowing her personally for a few years. I had already seen firsthand the kind of personality and energy this group brings. When my daughter and I talked with Lupe, we immediately knew Karma was the right choice. Lupe did an incredible job helping my daughter and her fiancé bring their vision to life. He took the time to understand what they wanted and helped create a night that was personal, exciting, and unforgettable. From the first dance, to the incredible moment when they played “Fireball” and me and the groom’s father led everyone on the dance floor, while passing out Fireball shots to everyone, to the private final dance for the bride and groom, Lupe and the entire Karma band helped make every moment special. The energy they brought was unbelievable. Karma had the dance floor packed the entire night. They had the bride and groom up on stage dancing, involved the crowd, and created an atmosphere where everyone felt like they were part of the celebration. They kept the party going nonstop. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had and how amazing the band was. Karma didn’t just perform at our daughter’s wedding — they became part of the memory. Thank you, Lupe and the entire Karma family, for making our daughter’s wedding a night we will never forget. Your talent, professionalism, and ability to connect with people are truly what set you apart.  We couldn’t recommend Karma more highly!

our very first conversation, Lupe made us feel like our wedding wasn’t just another event on the calendar. He took the time to truly get to know us as a couple, understand the atmosphere we wanted, and helped curate a playlist that perfectly reflected our personalities. Throughout the entire planning process, Lupe was incredibly responsive, organized, and genuinely invested in making our day unforgettable. One of the most meaningful moments of our wedding was our first dance. We asked the band to learn a version of our song that they had never performed before, and they not only learned it beautifully but even sent us a preview ahead of time so we could practice our dance. That level of care and attention meant so much to us. Our venue, Hotel Peter & Paul, was also a new venue for the band. Instead of leaving anything to chance, Lupe went above and beyond by coordinating with the venue beforehand to make sure they had the proper power, equipment, and connections so everything would run seamlessly. That proactive approach gave us so much confidence leading up to the wedding. On the wedding day, the band absolutely exceeded every expectation. They kept the dance floor packed all night, read the room perfectly, and delivered exactly what they had promised. Our guests are still talking about how incredible the music was and how much fun they had. The best testament I can give is that we loved them so much that when my sister got married a year later, she hired the same wedding band. Even though many of our guests attended both weddings, Lupe and the band created a completely unique experience for her. It wasn’t the same setlist or the same performance—they took the time to understand my sister and her husband just as they had done for us. The dance floor was packed all night at both weddings, yet each celebration felt personal and completely its own. That speaks volumes about their talent and dedication. The band itself was phenomenal, but what will stay with me long after our wedding is Lupe. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine investment in making our wedding special left a lasting impression. He cared about us, celebrated with us, and made us feel like our day truly mattered to him. I cannot recommend Lupe and this amazing wedding band highly enough. They were one of the very best decisions we made for our wedding, and I would choose them again without hesitation.
